Chef Chutipol Laoyodtrakul

Chef Chutipol Laoyodtrakul
Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Executive Chef Chutipol Laoyodtrakul’s love for food and cooking started since he was young, from creating homey meals for his family to working in different kitchens across his home city. After cutting his teeth as a Commis Chef at COMO Metropolitan Bangkok for two years, he moved across the globe to COMO Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos where he worked as a Demi-Chef for three years before returning to native Bangkok in 2012.
As a Junior Sous Chef, he played an integral role as part of the opening team for COMO Maalifushi, Maldives from 2015 to 2016. Following culinary stints at Bali, he continued his journey with the COMO Group in Singapore with the opening of COMO Cuisine. Beyond finessing his role in the kitchen, he’s also an adept trainer, having established and provided guidance to the team at Culina at COMO Dempsey. With a portfolio spanning diverse cuisines and environments, Chef Chutipol’s guiding principle is to cook simply with authenticity – and to always find enjoyment and passion in the process.
